Galicia in north-western Spain is a beautiful, green region with an ancient history that goes back to the Romans and Celts, with witchy tales, oak and chestnut forests and a dramatic coastline called Costa da Morte (coast of death), the graveyard of sea vessels and galleons. Galicia's history feels more mysterious and forgotten than elsewhere - and mostly, more magical.
